Long Island City School of Ballet This 70s Nutcracker 2025
THIS 70s NUTCRACKER Long Island City Ballet presents the students of the Long Island City School of Ballet in This 70's Nutcracker, a family friendly, far-out take on the classic holiday story! Audiences of all ages enjoy this shortened, colorful adaptation. Our story begins as guests arrive at a 1970s family holiday party, based on our founder's childhood memories, complete with bell bottoms, gag gifts and a wacky, hippie uncle who brings magical gifts to his niece and nephew. We then follow our hero, Eric, through his television and into the Land of Sweets where he and his sister, Anita, meet all of the classic Nutcracker characters.
