Grab your friends and settle in for a night of unforgettable Japanese cinema! This year were showing two very different, very fun films that highlight the magic of Japanese storytelling:
Princess Mononoke at 1:00pm: An all-time classic from Studio Ghibli. Epic battles, forest spirits, and a story that makes you think about our place in nature. Its big, beautiful, and still packs an emotional punch.
The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl at 4:00pm: A wild, colorful ride through Kyoto nightlife from director Masaaki Yuasa. Think quirky characters, surreal adventures, and a dash of romance all packed into one whirlwind evening.
Whether you're a longtime anime fan or just curious to dive into something new, come join us for great films, good company, and a celebration of Japanese culture right here in Kansas City.
Location and Parking: We are located at the Glenwood Arts Theater at 3707 W 95th St, Overland Park, KS 66206. Formerly the Ranchmart Theaters located on 2nd floor of Ranchmart South. Parking in rear or South side of shopping center.
