Joining them will be Mallory Chipman n award-winning singer-songwriter-producer, celebrated for her acrobatic vocals and the tender yet powerful way she weaves story into song. Walking the line between warm folk storytelling and an upbeat mystical country twang are Vancouver-based duo Duke & Goldie. The musical partnership of Jena Goldie Gogo and Eric The Duke Duquette, each longtime members of roots rock band Blue Sky Miners, has produced an exciting new sound said to revive the charm of the 60s and 70s Laurel Canyon music scene.
Their debut self-titled EP, released May 12th, 2023 has been met with glowing reviews and called A masterpiece that skilfully balances folk and country elements while showcasing the duos exceptional vocal abilities by Canadian Beats. On stage the pair weave their cascading vocal harmonies over acoustic guitar-laden arrangements to tell stories that roam from rocky mountain highs to mysterious remote deserts, while navigating their roles as settlers in this land. At the heart of it all, Duke & Goldies magnetic chemistry on stage is what continues to captivate audiences wherever they go.

With 5 records to her name and successful tours across Canada, Europe, and Japan, Canadian singer-songwriter Mallory Chipman is forging new paths on the music scene. Her genre-bending tendencies, powerful sound, and story-driven songwriting has been described as some of the finest folk rock currently being made (Amplify Music Magazine) and "a masterclass in musical innovation and creativity" (Certified Bop).
Her recently released LP, Songs to a Wild God, has been praised for the way her "powerful songwriting" and "multi-octave voice" explore thoughtful impressions on the environment we inhabit alongside personal reflections. Songs to a Wild God hit #1 on CKUA Radio, #5 on the Folk Alliance International Charts, and was one of the only independently released albums to debut in the Top 50 on the Canadian National Charts.
