The trio TALWEEN takes its listeners on musical journeys influenced by Tunisian African roots and classical Arabic music creating a subtle mix of new world music, oriental sounds, and jazzy beats with a prominent African flavor. Walid Zairis oud music is unique and fresh and takes the ancient instrument on adventures out of its usual conservative milieu. Talween - the Arabic world for coloring - displays a kaleidoscope of musical colors with mesmerizing melodies and improvisations.
