A Super Pop-Up Pizza Party
A one of a kind pop-up event brought to you by Chicago Pizza News.
Ill be taking over One Lake Brewing on Tuesday, April 8th from 6-9 pm, and I was able to recruit three of my favorite pizza makers in Chicago to come join me:
-Mike Bielaczyc is the mad scientist of pizza who runs Mr. Bs Peppy Pies. Mike is a wild card who specializes in making EVERY KIND OF PIZZA YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE, and seeing as this is his first ever pop-up event, Im sure hes almost as excited as I am for everyone to get the chance to try his pizza.
-Travis Hezel runs Chomp Pizza, and hes a highly-trained pizza assassin who honed his skills at some of the best pizza restaurants in the city. On Sundays when the weather is nice, you can find Travis set up on the sidewalk in front of his apartment in Pilsen making pizzas for his neighborhood. Travis puts an incredible amount of thought and dedication into everything he does, and especially into his pizza.
-And then we have the most altruistic man in all of pizza, John Carruthers of Crust Fund Pizza. John's pizzas are notoriously hard to get, I believe his monthly drops sell out in a matter of seconds now, so this might very well be your best chance to get a hold of some.
And while the pizza will absolutely be worth it on its own, all the proceeds will benefit Beyond Hunger.
