About Equipoise Dance
Equipoise Dance was founded to redefine the dance experience, offering a space where dancers can embrace their individuality, prioritize self-love, and foster genuine connection. Led by co-directors Heather (she/her) and Samantha Weissbach (she/her), the company celebrates inclusivity, artistry, and the healing power of movement.
Heather brings deep expertise as a professional dancer, choreographer, and movement expert, while Samantha's background as a professional dancer, dance educator, and advocate for evidence-based training complements this vision. Together, they've created a company that uplifts diverse dancer journeys, fosters growth, and reclaims what it means to dance in todays world.
Season 1 dancers include Alexandra Sipe, Anneka Parr, Bethany Lynch, Madison Walker-Mebus, Melissa Koh Krienke, with choreographric contributions from Emma Neilson and Staria Belle.
