1st Little City Concert Young Pianist Masterclass and Recital

Little City Concerts is excited to announce the 1st Little City Concerts Young Pianist Recital and Masterclass, taking place over the weekend of February 15 - 16, 2025. These events are in conjunction with Sophia Vastek's concert on Saturday, 2/15 at 7:30pm at The Falls Church in Falls Church City (more info here). We are so excited to host this opportunity for young musicians in our community: students will have the opportunity to be selected to play on a recital, perform for Ms Vastek in a masterclass setting, and possibly perform as an opening act on Ms Vastek's concert.

Guidelines:
High school aged pianists living in Falls Church City, Fairfax County, and Arlington County are invited to submit an entry for the following events: please use the form below to submit your entry for consideration on the recital (Sunday, 2/16, 2pm), masterclass (Saturday, 2/15, 11:00am - 12:30pm), and possible concert opener for Ms Vastek (Saturday, 2/15, 7:30pm). All events take place in the modern sanctuary of The Falls Church, located at 166 E Broad St in Falls Church City. All applicants will receive a complimentary ticket to the concert by Sophia Suabbayya Vastek on February 15th at 7:30pm. Please note that students get in free to any Little City Concerts event; applicants can share this ticket with family members that are not students. Students must be enrolled in high school to be eligible. Home-schooled students of high school age are eligible.

The fee to submit an entry is $25 per entry (one entry per student), payable via this link. All entries must be received by January 15th, 2025.
