Bal Folk: Duo Lila / Emilyn Stam and John Williams
Hi! Join us for another "Bal Folk" in Guelph. European Folk Dancing with a focus on French traditional music and dance! Fun group and partner dances.
No partner or experience necessary! The dances will be taught in advance at the workshop and you can jump in during the "Bal" too!
Schedule:
7pm - Doors open
7:15pm - Intro Worksop (with some new dances we've not taught yet in Guelph, as well as the standard dances you find at a bal folk!)
8pm Social Dance "Bal Folk"
Opening set by Duo Lila (Lisa Hartl and Tala Edwards playing crazy instruments you've probably not heard of)
Emilyn Stam and John David Williams
Followed by a post-bal Jam.
