Personal assistant Tala rummages through a 1980s storage unit with her boss, Jodie Foster, all the while unpacking the military industrial Maga mess. Tala stumbles across a cache of lost fan-mail from John HinckleyJr., written before he shot Reagan. Tala hatches the idea of finding the recovering assassin, now a singer-songwriter in Brooklyn, so that she can convince him to take out Trump before the election. She goes to the dive bar he performs in to set things in motion.
