DANCING NATURE
DANCING NATURE features work by Artistic Director and Choreographer Rosangela Silvestre from Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, and esteemed guest artists Sean Scantlebury, Dancer, and Babá Durú, Drums and Percussion, joined by Dancers from the community. The show is a result of a week long performance workshop series in which all performers collaborate to create the full performance. The project is partially funded by the Arts Council of Santa Cruz County.
Shows are Saturday, September 14th at 7pm, and Sunday, September 15th at 2pm at the London Nelson Community Center Auditorium stage at 301 Center Street in downtown Santa Cruz.
