Join us in welcoming Melanie Webb, the head cheesemaker and owner of Stony Pond Farm in Fairfield, VT. Tucked away in a special little corner of the Northeast Kingdom, Melanie and her family manage a wild Organic pasture and turned their once dairy farm into a farmstead cheesemaking system.
During this interactive tasting we will learn about what truly makes Stony Pond special. We will flex our sensory palates while we taste through a couple varieties of cheeses and age profiles and discuss how Organics, Rotational Grazing and Farmstead cheesemaking influences cheesemaking.
After the tasting, you are welcome to mingle and enjoy some raclette and beverages sponsored by Maker to Monger.
