BandCamp for ages 14-18 (12th, 13th and 14th August, 4-6pm)
Get ready and make some noise for Band Camp!
PLEASE NOTE: For ages 14-18 sessions are 12th, 13th and 14th August at 4.00pm - 6.00pm
Join us over 3 summer days to explore what music means to you, share what inspires you and create your own song!
Have a go at playing instruments, writing lyrics and recording your very own original music guided by our fantastic guest musician Calum Howard and our team of friendly and creative Theatre Practitioners and Youth Workers.
No experience needed: just bring a passion for music and a willingness to try new things. We'll use fun games to help you learn new skills, make new friends and express your creative spark.
Sessions are completely FREE. Sign-up is essential, by a parent or guardian for under 16s and over 16s can sign themselves up for these sessions.
Bandcamp is a collaboration that has come out of two exciting projects, Mortal Fools Sounding Board Project, which encourages young people to express themselves through music and YMCA Northumberlands Changemakers, a project that uses the power of music to encourage young people to make a positive change in their community.
