The WLU Theatre Program's production of this show will celebrate our 'new' understanding of gender as we spin this show into the 2020's and celebrate the fluidity of gender and sexuality.
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils 'his' latest creation: a 'man' named Rocky.
Additionally, Frank liberates the couple before the audience learns that Frank is actually an alien from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania.
