Gaza Fights for Freedom Documentary Screening Fundraiser- June 30th 2024, 7:15pm

Gaza Fights for Freedom is a 2019 documentary exploring the lives of Palestinians in Gaza during the March of Return, and the history leading up to it. The film covers their struggles for freedom from apartheid while highlighting their humanity and resilience despite the crushing occupation.

Prior to the film start there will be a short introduction providing additional context and an update on the ongoing struggles of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank during this current unprecedented bout of Israeli repression. We will also be highlighting organizations from Gaza and around the world who are on the ground helping the people of Gaza and discussing the BDS movement and what you can do to help!

This screening is being put on by the Partisans Party Tacoma, and graciously hosted by The Grand Cinema! All proceeds from the screening will go toward a mobile education school in Gaza that provides displaced Palestinian children with basic education.

$10 cash or venmo will be accepted at door as well.
