A Conversation with the Stars
In 2024 a total Solar eclipse crossed North America, with millions in the path of totality experiencing this natural wonder. Although total Solar eclipses aren't particularly rare, you have to be in just the right spot to see one! In this talk, given by Dr. Jeff Rich of Pasadena's Carnegie Observatories, you'll learn how eclipses happen: Solar, Lunar, and otherwise. We'll explain how things have to line up so you can witness an eclipse, when and where you can see future eclipses, and even what eclipses look like on other planets.
We hope you can join us.
