The East Bay fine dining scene joins local community organizations for restaurateur Charlie Hallowell's newest project, Sunday Suppers.

Taking place through April 2015, this monthly event brings together spectacular food and good company to raise money for a different East Bay organization working on behalf of the community.

This month, we will be supporting Alameda County Community Food Bank, who has been at the forefront of hunger relief efforts in the Bay Area since 1985. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 22.2 million meals' worth of food more than half of which was farm-fresh produce. The Food Bank serves 1 in 6 Alameda County residents by distributing food through a network of 240 food pantries, soup kitchens, and other community organizations, and pursues longer-term solutions to hunger through CalFresh application assistance and advocacy.

Tickets cost $100 per person, wine included, for a multicourse, prix-fixe meal.
