Rockford Dance Company 50th Anniversary Celebration
Fifty years ago, that was our slogan that could be found on a car bumper stickerHow clever! Watch us grow; watch us dance; watch this car zoom; watch us move.
As we wrap up our fiftieth season, we reflect on this slogan and think about how we want to shift into the next fifty years. I cannot help but think that we nailed it the first time Watch us move.
We have high hopes on what the next half century will look like, and we hope that you will join us in celebrating on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Rockford Universitys Maddox Theatre. We will showcase our story with historical pieces and costumes performed by volunteers, students, alumni, and Company members. We hope that you will also join us for our reception after the performance in Regents Hall for remarks and hors doeuvres (separate ticket required).
So please, we invite you to watch us move.
