Vivaldi's great masterpiece, the Gloria in D, will be performed with string orchestra, oboe, and a rock and roll band. Never before heard in this unique, contemporary setting, the timeless beauty of the baroque, Venetian master is brought to life in such a way as to appeal to the youth of our generation. His more rarely performed Magnificat, as well as the Summer Concerto from his most famous work, the Four Seasons, will be presented with the traditional orchestration.
