Senior Civil Engineer
City of San Diego Strategic Capital Projects
BIO: Richard Fernandez is a Senior Construction Engineer leading Pure Water San Diego conveyance pipeline projects for the City of San Diego. He has worked on large water/wastewater projects located in the western US for 16 years with a passion for sustainability. Richard also offers professional services to implement sustainable values to the capital project delivery process as a Principal with Aquario Engineering. Being from Southern California, he naturally gravitated toward water and wastewater infrastructure and enjoys live music, camping and trail running.
