Traditional Norwegian Christmas Table / Julebord in Ballard/Seattle

Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001, Sons of Norway, presents its traditional Christmas dinner called julebord on Saturday, December 9 starting at 5pm with social and appetizers. Come join with your family and friends to celebrate a Norwegian Christmas in Seattle. There will be music, singing and dancing around the Christmas tree following dinner.

Attire: After 5 dressy or Norwegian bunad/folkdrakt or Norwegian sweaters or holiday dress

Traditional Norwegian appetizers (smoked salmon, pickled herring, vegetable platter) and dinner featuring pork ribbe (ribs), fiskepudding (fish pudding) with shrimp sauce, surkål (sour cabbage), appleslaw, potatoes, lingonberries and more with a variety of favorite Christmas refreshments available for purchase. Our famous riskrem (yummy rice cream) with sauce will again be the dessert and at least one lucky person, will find a whole almond to trade for a present.

For reservations, make them here. All tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets at the door. Ticket sales close on December 6. The cost is $60.00 and $20 for kids 12 years or younger.
