Doc's Watering Hole ~ Whiskey Story Tellers
On November 4th, 2023, Doc's Watering Hole (1959 Frontage Road, Sierra Vista, AZ) will host a Whiskey and food pairing event.
One of the best parts of expanding your whiskey and Bourbon palate is hearing everything about the spirit and how it came to be. Join us as we start with the Jefferson's Very Small Batch (Paired with a Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese bite smothered in Honey) to give your tastebuds a baseline for the Jefferson's line-up.
Second on our list is the Jefferson's Reserve; the oldest and most robust bourbon whiskey in the core Jeffersons family (paired with a Charcuterie Skewer).
Now that we have established the base lines of the Jefferson's Whiskey we embark on a global excursion. Our third tasting takes us to Singapore with Jefferson's Tropics - the latest innovation and the newest addition to the Jeffersons family. Tropics exposes barrels of fully mature Kentucky straight bourbon to unrelenting equatorial heat and humidity (paired with a Bacon Wrapped Date).
Continuing on our Journey we will hear about the route and weather that contributed to the uniqueness of Jefferson's Ocean Voyage 28 (paired with Doc's signature Pork Taco on a flour tortilla).
A recount of the route taken by Jefferson's Rye Voyage 26 will conclude our tasting and storytelling (finishing off the event with Deep Fried Ice Cream).
Tickets for the full experience are $50.00, Tickets for your Designated Driver who wish to purchase just the food are $25.00.
