Painting Basics Workshop
This class will run on Saturdays from 2-4pm over the span of five weeks (10.28-11.25).
Bring your own materials or purchase a discounted bundle kit specifically organized for this workshop.
This workshop will explore painting live media with a focus on plants and flowers, so feel free to bring in your own foilage muse(s). Hosted by Jennifer Klemp, Artist. www.jenniferklemp.com
The first session (10.28) will focus on contour studies and drawing some mock-ups so the second session (11.4) can touch on transfer methods. Moving forward, (11.11 & 11.18) you will learn about proper color-mixing, color comparison/contrast, painting from dark to light, and background vs foreground. The final session (11.25) will cover the finishing touches and commercializing/marketing your art, and the workshop will end with a small critique.
