Doane's Dungeon 2023

Doane's Dungeon is an immersive haunted walking tour that takes you through the historic Doane Academy campus where you will encounter classic and modern literary horror stories that have come to life.

This event is suggested for ages 10 and up.
It is HIGHLY suggested that Lower School Students attend the Sensory Friendly Tours.

Sensory Friendly Tours
The 6:10. 6:20 and 6:30 tours each night are sensory friendly and are a great introduction for younger children or children who may not have had a lot of experience with haunted houses. A description of the sensory friendly tours can be found below.

Sensory friendly tours mean:
-more light overall, minimal blood, no strobe lights, no weapons and no jump scares. Less interaction with the performers.

Please note the following for all tours after 6:30:
-Content warning: darkness, fake blood, simulated violence, prop weapons, strobe lights, fog and jump scares.
-This is an immersive experience and the performers may interact with you by speaking to you, inviting you to join them in their space, and may join or follow the tour.

Things of note:
-Doors for the event open at 5:45pm
-The last tour leaves at 8:40 and returns to the lobby area at about 9:30
-There are stairs at the entrance of the venue and throughout the tour.
-This is a walking tour and audience members will be walking and standing for about 45min.
-The entrance to the venue is in the courtyard which is a short walk from the parking lot.
