The Columbia City Comedy Show works to bring you the best comedians in the Northwest for an economical price. It's our mission to bring you a great comedy show and a great evening at the Columbia City Theater so you can experience this art form we love so much.
The Columbia City Theater's History
"The Columbia City Theater boasts one of the most beautiful settings for live music and performance in Seattle. The theater reopened on June 25th, 2010 to rave reviews and was featured in Seattle Weekly's "Best of Seattle" list after being open for less than two months. It has since been dubbed "The city's finest sounding room," by SPIN Magazine.
The Columbia City Theater was built in 1917 and is the oldest vaudeville theater in the state of Washington. Having played a major role in the Seattle Jazz boom in the 40s, the theater played host to the likes of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, and Fats Waller. During the 50s the theater served as a neighborhood movie theater (pictured above), where neighborhood residents have recalled attending Saturday morning movies for kids such as Flash Gordon and the Our Gang series. During the 60s, the theater began hosting live events once more and is one of the first venues to host the legendary Jimi Hendrix.
During the early 80s, the theater was a home to much of the DIY punk movement and the touring networks that were created to support it. It has since been an art commune, and a place that specifically hosted raves in more recent years under the name "The Lish House".

We're excited to welcome Sharon Lacey!
Sharon Lacey has shot up the ranks since jumping out of the middle school classroom and onto the comedy stage. She performs in comedy clubs all across America and Canada, and has co-headlined two tours entertaining U.S. troops in Kuwait and Iraq. Sharon just returned from her second comedy tour in Africa, where she performs for Ugandan audiences in two of their tribal languages.
She's an alumnus of the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, Seattle International Comedy Competition, San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Saskatchewan Prairie Comedy Festival, and Columbia City's own "Got Funny?" competition.

We're excited to welcome Lukas Seely!
Lukas Seely started comedy back in his hometown of Billings, MT before relocating to Seattle,WA in 2004. Lukas soon became a crowd favorite in Seattle Comedy scene and had since moved to Los Angeles, California where he regularly performs at The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and many other venues.
The comedic poise he brings to the stage is impressive. His contagious laugh makes audiences feel as if they were sitting at home in front of the fire place. His hilarious stories about his life in a country city and other life experiences make his performance a knock out punch.
He was nominated as an Emerging Comic in the New York Underground Comedy Festival. Recently he opened for Bill Burr on the "Billy Red State Tour." Lukas has also worked w/ such names as Dane Cook, Damon Wayans, Russell Peters, Bobby Lee, Sarah Silverman, Ron White, Greg Giraldo, Daniel Tosh to name a few.
In 2010 Lukas performed his stand-up on Showtime's "Louie Anderson Presents" currently on Hulu.com.

We're excited to welcome Billy Anderson!
Billy's distinctive perspective on life and the way people live it combines with a laid-back, southern cadence & delivery to create a clever and funny act worth seeing. His view skews young and modern, while still having a general disdain that lends itself to an older tone and familiarity with the way the world works. Audience members have called him "a silly ginger" and "stupidly funny", while bookers have labeled Billy as "worth watching" and a "rising star of the NW comedy scene". Well spoken yet silly, Billy's work can be seen in 2013s Bite of Seattle, SketchFest & Bumbershoot, as well as in bars and clubs all over the greatest country to ever end in "merica".

We're excited to welcome Alfred Carcieri!
Alfred was born in a small town just north of west bumfuck in central Maine. After graduating High School, he promptly moved south to the city that would become his second home, Boston. There, he went to college and experimented with drugs (A LOT). After graduating he traveled around, working as a mechanic when he finally grew some balls and decided to try Stand Up Comedy.
He began his illustrious career with a staggering 25 second performance at the Tacoma Comedy Club in Tacoma, Washington during an Open Mic. Despite that failure he quickly became hooked and has been getting up on stage to tell jokes as often as possible ever since.
He has since managed to last longer than 25 seconds, at least on stage. He brings a strong blend of sarcasm and wit to the stage with a clear New England influence. Whether he is talking about his upbringing, being the only Italian family surrounded by rednecks, or covering current events, he is doing it with the same sarcastic tone that kept him in the Principal's office throughout his formative years.
He has since also become a contributing author to the Podaholics Comedy Network
