World Tour ImmersionArts Day Camp
Musicollaborative's WORLD TOUR ImmersionArts Day Camp will be held 9am-4pm, Wednesday, April 23, at the Annette West Music Studio uptown. This small-group creative play "field trip" is open to 7- to 12-year-old children whose schools are out for the day or who homeschool/unschool, a limited number of spots are available for children ages 5-6 who have attended a previous ImmersionArts camp or who were referred by a participating family. Group music, movement and visual arts activities from four continents will be facilitated by specialists in the morning and afternoon and a variety of hands-on centers will be available for self selection throughout the day. Participants may engage in joyous vocal and instrumental music--including hand percussion, xylophones and keyboard, patterned and expressive movement, arts and crafts, nature play and more in a beautiful private music studio in uptown New Orleans. Free play--both inside and out will be incorporated into the day's agenda. Purified water and healthy snacks will be provided and participating families are asked to pack a lunch.
