How to Frame an Interior Wall

Work with a master carpenter to build a platform and frame out three walls with wood 2x4s, including rough openings for doors and windows. Applicable to new construction or renovations. Attendees should have some experience using power tools, as the class will include the use of circular and miter saws as well as nail guns and/or screw guns to cut and join lumber.

The cost of the class is based on a sliding scale between $50 and $70, and includes a $30 materials fee to cover the cost of lumber and fasteners. Please consider paying more to cover the costs of hosting this class, if you are able.

Cancellations and Refunds: If you have signed up for a class but are unable to attend, please email info@westphillytools.org to cancel your enrollment. For cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will either issue a credit towards a future class, or refund the full ticket price, less service fees collected by BrownPaperTickets (typically $2.50 - $4 per ticket). We are unable to guarantee credit or refunds for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot. Tickets are transferable; please notify us prior to the class at the above email if someone else will be attending in your stead and provide the attendees name and email address.
