CARNAL SPILL
Carnal Spill delves into the language women use and receive during the act of sex and invites the audience to consider how verbal language and cliche, fantasy, and the stories we tell ourselves operate inside of sexual play. How does our relationship to words evoke erotic connection or disconnection; turn-on or shame? The synthesis of words and movement in Carnal Spill allows a window into the complexity of sexual encounter within each performers body.
Conceived and directed by Carrie Ahern with collaborators Donna Costello, Carolyn Hall, Anne Parichon, Elke Rindfleisch, Bennalldra Williams, with text written by Ahern and Vanessa DeWolf, music composition by Anne Hege, and lighting design by Jay Ryan. With contributions by original cast member Jennifer Chin.
This production of Carnal Spill is a remount, back by popular demand. The piece originally premiered in May of 2022.
As with the rest of the Sex Status canon, this performance will be hosted at a private home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Exact location will be disclosed in your ticket purchase confirmation..
THERE IS NO LATE SEATING please aim to arrive by between 7:45 and 7:55pm. We will not be able to let you in after 8pm. All ticket sales are final, no refunds will be issued.

The apt is on the ground floor level and we can host people in wheelchairs in this space however there is 1 small step outside the entry way that does require assistance to navigate.
