Synopsis: Luciano Bianciardi era amico di molti di quei minatori, e gli portava il cinema e i libri, come strumenti di emancipazione culturale e sociale.
A young man is awakened by noises. Some poorly dressed men are seated at the table in their kitchen. They are talking about something moving inside a cage.
This story is inspired by the tragedy in the mine of Ribolla, in 1954, May, 4th, where 43 miners lost their lives.
Sinopsis: Luciano Bianciardi era amigo de muchos mineros, y portaba el cine y los libros, como instrumentos de emancipación cultural y social.
Un joven se despierta con ruidos. Algunos hombres mal vestidos están sentados en la mesa de su cocina. Están hablando de algo que se mueve dentro de una jaula.
Esta historia está inspirada en la tragedia ocurrida en la mina de Ribolla, el 4 de mayo de 1954, donde perdieron la vida 43 mineros.

Synopsis: Sofía is putting up search posters of her missing boyfriend Luis all over town. Copies of his picture surround her. Luis is one of the more than 80,000 missing persons in Mexico. At night Sofía faces a recurring dream: Little by little her world transforms into paper. First, the birds, then the ground, her room, until even death is made of paper. "PAPEL" tells this Mexican story of mourning and hope in black and white still images.
Sinopsis: Sofía está colocando carteles de búsqueda por toda la ciudad. Su novio Luis es uno de los más de 80,000 desaparecidos en México. Copias de su foto la rodean. Por la noche, Sofía se enfrenta al sueño recurrente de un mundo convertido en papel. Primero los pájaros, luego el suelo, su habitación, hasta que incluso la muerte es de papel.

Synopsis: Bianca, a young Italian immigrant living in the countryside of São Paulo, is working on her family's crops when she sees Arú, an enslaved indigenous woman, who was injured while escaping two goons from the farm where she was forced to work.
