Oscar winner Jan Troell (The Emigrants, The New Land) returns with this intimate epic set in turn-of-the-century Sweden. Based on a true story, Everlasting Moments tells the story of a young working class woman, Maria, who wins a camera in a lottery. The decision to keep it alters
her entire life. The camera grants Maria new eyes with which to see the world, and brings a charming photographer into her life. Trouble ensues when Marias alcoholic, womanizing husband, feels threatened by the young man and his wifes newfound outlook on life.
