Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare - The Bronx Shakespeare Festival at Lehman College (BronxShakes)
Lehman Stages celebrates its twentieth anniversary season with the inaugural production of The Bronx Shakespeare Festival at Lehman College. BronxShakes will be presenting Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare in the new outdoor amphitheatre at Lehman College. Performances begin on Wednesday, September 13th at 7PM and run through Saturday September 16 at 3PM. Thursday, September 14 and Friday, September 15 performances are at 7PM. Admission is free and reservations are required.
This fun, fast and ferocious production of Romeo and Juliet is adapted and directed by special guest artist Rick DesRochers from the Theatre Program at Lehman. A perpetual motion machine this production features a cast of all Lehman alums including Alexa Downing, Emily Garcia, Bethany Rondon, Andrew Moeller, Jahdiel Rodriguez, Natasha Collado, Simran Pal Kaur and Hemanuel Damis. The stage manager is Julie Peteani and the fight coordinator is Alyssa Van Gorder. Running time is approximately 90 minutes.
