SOLDIER IN ART: ARTHUR SZYK, Directors: Jim Ruxin A wordless, musical tribute to the main themes in the life and work of Polish-Jewish artist and political cartoonist, Arthur Szyk (1894-1951. Szyk was a leading visual voice against the Axis powers in New York during WWII. Szyk was the most respected manuscript illuminator of the 20th century as well as art director for the Ministry of Propaganda of the new country of Poland after WWI. Self taught, he considered the US the standard for freedom for all individuals.
MY FAITH, MY LIFE, Director: Chasity Cagle Nicola Herman is a Jehovah's Witness. She sometimes finds herself in difficult situations due to her religious beliefs. This is her story of how she keeps her faith intact while going to public school and living in American culture. Chasity Cage, director, explains why the US Constitution allows Nicola to be free to have her own religious beliefs.

Without a college degree or any savings, yet undaunted by the post-crash economy, the self-taught entrepreneur created a pickle business. One by one, he reached out to his struggling childhood friends to involve them in the enterprise, throwing virtual lifelines. In their early twenties, they shared a home, a love of skateboarding, and the drive to 'make it' in the Big Apple.
