CARLA RHODES

Conservation photographer Carla Rhodes tells visual tales of the natural world, focusing on the overlooked and misunderstood. From endangered storks to everyday moths, her work is a testament to the beauty found in the unexpected.

Her journey, once rooted in the realms of comedic ventriloquism, now flourishes in the wild, capturing images that inspire and educate. Skillfully morphing her narrative craft from the stages spotlight to the boundless theater of the wilderness, she is truly a wild storyteller, unveiling the hidden narratives of the unsung heroes of the wild.

SAM MARGEVICIUS

Sam Margevicius is an artist working in and around photography. He builds systems of meaning through books, installations, and performances. Sams work privileges process, emphasizing ideas that emerge in dialogue with materials, environments, and audience. He recently completed a fellowship at the Saltonstall foundation for the arts, and will be the Abbot-Watts artist-in-residence at Monson Arts this fall. Margevicius artist book Darkroom Drawing was published by Small Editions in 2021, and is held in libraries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, MA, and the Museum of Modern Art, NY.
