NFW and NFCT - Screening of "Grounders"
In a collaboration between the North Fork Women and the North Fork Community Theatre there will be a screening of "Grounders" on June 9th at 6:30PM.
Grounders is a heartfelt documentary about a women's softball league in Brooklyn: the games, the teams, and the players that take the eld. Exploring the personalities and life stories of a diverse group of women, Grounders captures an inside view of a unique sub-culture, and a thoughtful and uplifting revelation of their community emerges.
Tickets are $20 each and include reception, documentary and Q+A with the filmmaker.
Grounders is a Co-Benefit for North Fork Community Theatre and North Fork Women.
