Swing Fever 2009! The 5th Annual RCB Annual Gala Event and Fund Raising Extravaganza!
Join Rainbow City Band as we present Swing Fever, the 5th Annual Gala Event and Fund Raising Extravaganza! A full evening of entertainment for $100 per person starting at 6:00pm in the newly renovated Madison Ballroom at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel (Downtown at the corner of 6th and Madison). Ticket price includes entire evening of Musical entertainment, Banquet, Silent and Live Auction and Swing Dance featuring Purple Passion Swing Band. DJ and No Host Bar.
Choose from four spectacular dinner options (please select dinner preference when purchasing each guests ticket):
A. Sugar Roasted Chile Prawns in Lemongrass Coconut Sauce
B. Filet Mignon with Wild Mushroom Relish and Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
C. Smoked Pork Tenderloin with Caramelized pears and onions and Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes
D. Portobello Mushroom Cap with Roasted Peppers and Grilled squash, with Fennel Couscous with Roasted Green Onions (vegetarian/vegan)
Our goal is to raise money to help fund the future of the Rainbow City Band and its affiliate organizations. Fund raising goals include:
- Add funds to our scholarship program
- Defray the band's operating expenses
- Purchase much needed instruments
The evening will really heat up when Purple Passion takes the stage and you take to the dance floor for our swing dance. The night doesn't have to end as our DJ keeps it spinning and takes your dedications during the popular "bid-a-song" breaks.
