Liv is desperate to throw the perfect surprise party for her winning new fiancé, Christoph. She's eager to show all their friends how excited she is to be engaged. Or, maybe she is eager to atone for sleeping with her best friend Nate. As party time approaches, commitment-phobe Nate makes a full court press for Liv's affections while the rest of their friends head on a collision course through New York City: Prim, proper and newly pregnant Beatrice wants someone to admire her cabinets while husband Paul may just want some freedom. Liv's older brother Sammy and his stoner assistant stakeout Sammy's cheating wife and drop-out brother Thomas hires a stripper instead of a bartender. To make matters worse, Christoph's ex, Annie, just arrived in town to either win back her man or punch him in the face. And, the party is just getting startedwith or without the cock cake. When this tangled web of friends gathers for the party, some people get lucky, some get even, and some go home in tears.
