Hometown Hootenanny: On the Air
The March 8 Hometown Hootenanny takes a dramatic turn, as the music show becomes a two-act play and the Hometown Band and their guests are transformed into country music legends of the early 1960s.

Radio station HOOT (1520 on the AM dial) has lined up appearances by a group of country artists who are in town for a sold-out show. Dropping by the studio are Marty Robbins, Buck Owens, Floyd Kramer, Patsy Cline and the Man in Black himself, Johnny Cash.

Hometown Hootenanny fans will get a kick out of seeing their favorite band members take on the personas of these music legends, while delivering an evening full of familiar music. The "radio show" performances will include "Devil Woman," "Love's Gonna Live Here," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Walkin' After Midnight" and much more.

Hometown Band members Dave McCabe, Larry Greenleaf, Duane Trueblood, Buck Hammock, Cal Winston and Dan Leal will be joined by Frank Sandoval as Johnny Cash and Jenny Wiltse as Patsy Cline.

Tickets for the March 8 show are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors/students/military, and only $5 for kids 12 and under. Purchase tickets online at brownpapertickets.com or by calling the Everett Theatre at (425) 258-6766. The box office opens at 6:30 the day of the show.

Free parking is available at the EverPark Garage, corner of Hoyt and Hewitt, just one block from the Historic Everett Theatre.

The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett.
