NECW presents MARCH BADNESS

New England Championship Wrestling returns to Beverly with MARCH BADNESS, another big night of action taking place on Saturday night, March 8th at the Cove Community Center, 19 East Corning Street in Beverly with a 7 PM bell time.

In th main event, new NECW Heavyweight Champion, Slyck Wagner Brown makes his first title defense against the former champion, Sean Burke. Burke claims the only reason he lost the title was that it was a Triple Threat Match and notes that he has never been defeated in one on one competition in NECW. SWB syas, "It took me 12 years to get that title back and I intend to hang on to it."

NECW Television Champion, "The Masshole" Mike McCarthy defends his title in a rematch with the man he took it from, Johnny Thunder.

Plus: Antonio "The Promise" Thomas battles Genesis. In a highly anticipated grudge match, "The Canadian Sensation" Jeremy Prophet goes one on one with arch enemy "Asylum" Nick Shepherd. "The One Man Lynch Mob" Jack Maverick faces Brad Hollister in a special challenge match. Tony Ulysses' controversial new tag team THE END battle former NECW Tag Team Champions, Mike Webb & Nick Farenheight. In addtion, the man referred to as a Mexican Legend, El Le Oro here from his native Juarez, Mexico on a cultural exchange, makes his in-ring debut. More matches will be announced.
