It may be cold outside, but now is the best time to start your seeds indoors! Join us on Saturday, February 22 for our first FREE workshop as part of our new DIY Gardening Series at Old Takoma Ace. Participants will receive the supplies they need to start their seeds, including tomato and pepper seeds, soil, and a peat cup to start the seeds in- you'll leave our store with some great knowledge on seed starting and your first few tomato plants of the season!
Plus, as an added bonus, the workshop takes place on the same day as our annual bag sale, which means you can get all your seed starting supplies (and anything else you may need in stores) for 20% off!
The workshop will be lead by Hillary Banachowsk of Sacred Roots DC, with the help of our Live Goods Manager Amber Jenkins. There will be two workshops back to back, each lasting about half an hour with 15-30 minutes built in for questions about seed starting and gardening.
