Melva Digital Showcase
On 17th May, join creative learning company, Mortal Fools to find out more about their award winning, creative invention MELVA, across this 1.5hour digital showcase.
Mortal Fools will showcase MELVA as a RSHE curriculum supporting programme for educators & professionals and a practical, high impact way to empower all children (aged 7-11) and the adults in their lives to talk openly about and better understand their mental health, emotions and wellbeing.
During the digital showcase, youll hear about Melva as an early mental health intervention and structured digital programme consisting of a feature film, a choose your own adventure game, lesson plans, activities, discussion prompts, teacher resources and advice, designed to be used with children at a developmentally critical age bracket to:
Increase childrens understanding of wellbeing and positive relationships.
Support childrens emotional development increasing cognitive empathy, self-awareness, impact of emotions & experiences on thoughts, feelings & the body, improving critical thinking and decision making, and enhanced levels of resilience.
Learn through meaningful play and creativity.
Enable positive and open conversations about wellbeing and mental health.
Experiment using practical and recognised mental health strategies that through the programme can be embedded into day-to-day life, the classroom and other settings.
Across 90mins (with time for questions), Mortal Fools will walk you through the programme how and why it works, talk through the benefits and impact on teachers and children, give a live demo of the portal and some resources, share a few testimonials from some of the 42 school settings currently using the programme and share how we are working with NHS commissioning groups, organisations like Children NE on bespoke projects, and businesses on multi-school purchases alongside how we onboard individual schools that purchase a Melva licence.
