The Folk Experience Concert
Remember the Hootenannys and Sing Alongs of the 60s and 70s? Remember all the camp songs? Remember sitting around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and making smores, and singing Kumbaya? All those great memories?
Kehillah Chen v'Chesed (KCVC) and The First Presbyterian Church of Encino (FPCE) present THE FOLK EXPERIENCE (Cindy Paley, Ed Labowitz and Mike Sirota) in concert. Lyric booklets and refreshments will be provided.
SATURDAY APRIL 22, 7:30pm-9:30pm
Come join in the fun as they bring back some of those iconic songs of the folk era with banjo, guitars and 3 part harmonies. They will perform songs by Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, Peter Yarrow, Pete Seeger, the Weavers and more. Its a hand clapping, foot stomping happening! Perfect for the whole family.
