Michigan Mandolin Orchestra - Spring Concert in Hastings (Benefit for Barry County Cares)

Barry County Cares is a faith-based community non-profit that works in cooperation with local churches, individuals and businesses to help people in need in Barry County.
Join the Michigan Mandolin Orchestra for their 2023 Spring Concert Series The MMO, a sixteen piece orchestra with mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos, guitars and bass is led by Michigans mandoliner Brian Oberlin. At the Spring concerts the musical crew will delve into full arrangements of American folk music from ragtime and fiddle tunes to folk based earworms arranged and composed by orchestras members. Highlighting the performance are chamber works by J.S. Bach and pieces written for mandolin orchestra from 20th century Italian composers, Carosio and Amadei. Concert goers can also delight in solo and small chamber performances from music director Brian Oberlin and members of the MMO.
