Tour of Fairbanks Libraries - Alaska Library Association Conference 2023
Thursday, March 23, 2023 @ 9:30am-2:30pm: Tour of Fairbanks Libraries - Cost: $30.00
Join us for the Tour of Fairbanks Libraries! Van leaves the Wedgewood Resort @ 9:30am for University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). At 10am, tour the famous Into the Wild bus with staff from the University of Alaska Museum of the North. Tour the UAF Rasmuson Library featuring the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives from 11am-noon. Bring your own lunch to eat (if need be and if time allows there may be some lunch options on campus), then the van will head down to the Noel Wien Public Library to see all the exciting plans for their upcoming renovation. Return back to the Wedgewood Resort at 2:30pm in plenty of time to get ready for the AkLA Opening Reception and Award Ceremony.
