Battle Tested Security Concepts is the flagship self-defense course locally since January 2021. The concepts and techniques taught in the seminar cover a variety of critical skills necessary for the safe navigation of the environment and defense of oneself (or others).
Course Highlights:
Four + hours of professional instruction
Multiple instructors to maximize individual learning
Informational handouts for personal use after class
Hands-on training to refine and perfect skills
Safe and trauma-conscious space for all who wish to participate
The course will consist of a 2 hour classroom style informational section, teaching the Personal Safety Concepts.
Followed by a 1 hour, voluntary, introduction and basic application of Physical Combative Techniques.
Followed by a 1 hour, voluntary, mock simulation training where students will apply the skills they have learned.
Accommodations for disability will be made where-ever possible and support will be provided for triggering topics or scenarios.
Ages 18 and older. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in.
