CONNECT: Through Impactful Digital Presentations

This 3 hour workshop, delivered via Zoom by Mortal Fools, will explore presenting and pitching confidently on digital platforms. For many, the use of digital platforms as a means to deliver presentations, pitches or pre-recorded video raising a range of new challenges and edging even the most confident presenter out of their comfort zone and yet its never been more important to be confident, clear and communicate effectively to connect with your intended audience to get your message across. More so, as the disconnect between presenter and audience due to digital presentations means that in person presentation techniques don't translate to online.
We will be helping you translate some of your in person presentation skills to online, develop your communication skills and boost your confidence to ensure clear, persuasive communication during digital engagements, helping you get your message across, being heard and delivering a positive, impactful digital presentation. We will be sharing some communication theory, our experience, hints and tips from Mortal Fools drama practitioners.
We will not be exploring functionality of platforms or technical elements this is a communication skills workshop run by an experienced theatre practitioner.
This workshop covers:
- Effective and impactful use of body language and voice
- Delivering an accessible, well managed digital presentation prioritising audience experience.
- Practical tips to manage fear and quieting the negative voice in your head
- Successfully owning and using the digital space
- How to manage what people see, hear, feel and think during your session.
£25 per participant - includes access to FB group post session and post session notes for further reflection.
