Sunol Repertory Theatre 2023 Season - 40th Year - "Caught in the Villain's Gaze"

Circa 1910 a traveling group of thespians arrive in the small town of Sunol with the announced intent to audition the locals for a performance of William Shakespeares play Romeo and Juliet. Their real motive is swindling the locals out of the ticket money that was destined to a local charity. Along the way, things get out of hand with general mayhem that only true theater people can bring about!

As always, profits from the performance support Sunol Glen School Fine Arts Programs. Over the years, SRT has donated over $250,000 to this local, award winning and sought-after K-8 school. All Sunol Glen students, faculty and staff benefit from SRT donations. Over the past 40 years many Sunol Glen students have participated in the performances; the confidence, discipline, and responsibility they learned have served them well throughout their continuing educational and life experiences.

To help us celebrate this milestone anniversary, this season we will host an SRT Alumni reception on opening night Friday, March 10 AND an Angel & Super Angels Reception Saturday, March 11. Both are to be held at 6:30pm in the Sunol Glen Cafeteria with light refreshments.
