Unsubdued Review
Formed in April 2022, the Unsubdued Theatre Collective is a group of actors, playwrights, directors, and other theatrical artists with the objective of dismantling hierarchical structures in traditional theaters. Members are committed to fostering a safe environment for artists whose voices are not bolstered by mainstream theatre to create and perform new works. By putting the community at the center of the process, the collective is reevaluating the way a play is made in order to form a bolder vision for a revolutionary stage.
