Couples Cooking w/ Rinku Bhattacharya
Come join a chef Rinku Bhattacharya lead evening of Indian inspired culinary education and enjoyment!
Rinku is writes the blog CookingInWestchester.com, and her recent book, The Bengali Five Spice Chronicles, won the 2013 gourmand Cook Book award for "Best Indian Cuisine Cookbook" in the USA! Rinku also writes and online column, Spices and Seasons for, The Journal News. Her new cookbook, Spices and Seasons is expected in May 2014.
Rinku is enthusiastic about spices, simple and sustainable cooking, sourcing many vegetables from her own backyard, and combines essential regional Indian flavors and simple seasonal ingredients to produce quick and nutritious dishes.
You and your partner will learn how to cook from scratch several healthy and delicious restaurant-quality recipes, including Rinku's father's recipe for Egg Curry. Bring a bottle of wine and someone special, and savor the satisfaction of a home-made meal. The class is limited to 12 couples, and online registration is required. $95 per couple.
