Lets get dark. Emerging from the dregs of the post-punk genre, Goth Rock uses primarily minor or bass chords, reverb, and dramatic and melancholic melodies. This music has themes of sadness, nihilism, tragedy, and melancholy with a poetic and romanticized view. Well be covering the deeply feeling music of bands like Ministry, Joy Division, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Nick Cave, Bauhaus, NIN and more.
