Rhonda Thomas O4W Holiday Concert

Soul/Jazz Vocalist, Rhonda Thomas is bringing in the holidays with a brand new Christmas concert to be held in Historic Old 4th Ward's Howard Middle School Auditorium (551 John Wesley Dobbs Ave. NE Atlanta, GA 30312).

This concert will be take place on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 8 pm (SHARP). There is free parking and the school is one block from the Freedom Parkway highway exit downtown.

Rhonda (www.rhondasings.com) will create a unique musical experience as she will feature saxophonist, Jeff Sparks and her incredible band: Khari Cabral Simmons (bass), Wellington "Boo" Britt (drums), Andre Avelino (lead guitar), Greg Satterwhite (piano) and Netta Finley (background vocals).

This evening will contain music made famous by Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Lalah Hathaway, and Nat King Cole, in addition to, selections from Rhonda's critically acclaimed Christmas album, "Little Drummer Girl"

For those new to Rhonda's artistry, she was a background vocalist for soul icon, Isaac Hayes from 1997-2008. Her fifth and most recent solo album, "Vinyl Daze" peaked at #12 on the Jazz Billboard Charts and her latest project, "Rhonda Re-Imagined" will be released on Friday, March 31, 2023.
