The Eclectics
The Eclectics will be playing at the Roots Cellar (basement of University Baptist Church in Dinkytown) on December 3rd @ 7pm. Tickets $20.
Eclectic is a good name for a group that relishes traditional fiddle music, good old bluegrass, as well as pop and the envelope-pushing instrumentals Phil writes. The group not only entertains by playing a variety of songs and tunes, but has been successful presenting Inside Bluegrass, during which the Eclectics tell audiences how a bluegrass group is organized, and play plenty of examples demonstrating the points made.

Roots Cellar is located at University Baptist Church in Dinkytown at 1219 University Ave SE, Minneapolis MN 55414.Bus routes are a block away and parking is available in small lots next door, paid lots around Dinkytown, and street parking as well.
